Every Game In History started with an idea based loosely on those cheap flexible magnets they’d give you at the checkout of grocery stores in sports markets — You know, the ones with little boxes of your team’s schedule for that season? What would this look like on such a scale? The answer is that it creates a mosaic of art for the most dedicated of sports fans who appreciate all the ins and outs of their team’s entire history.
Every team has a history, and every team’s history is a tapestry woven through every game in their existence. It isn’t just about the championships or the monster seasons, either. It’s the surprise Wild Card bids, the eras of mediocrity, the unexpected wins, and the heartbreaking losing streaks. The history of a team is every game in totality, and nowhere is that more evident than when backing up and looking at an Every Game In History print.
My name is Dustin, and I’m the engine behind Every Game In History. I’ve spent over two decades working in graphic design and illustration, but I’ve spent twice that as a rabid sports fan and enthusiast of sports history. When I set out to build Every Game In History, my goal was simple: Could I build sports designs that fit just as well in a dingy college dorm as they fit in an upscale living room? Every Game In History prints do indeed harken back to those grocery store magnets, and can be viewed as a reference point to settle an argument in a Man Cave during Week 7 of the Jets’ season, but they also stand alone as adorning pieces to a meticulously designed living room; A subtle sports fan homage that doesn’t insist on itself. Art, but with a wink and a nod to your favorite team, and your true fanatical side.
Every game tells a story. This is what that story looks like.
